Sprouts; June 28, 2011

We are still in Brewerton, New York enjoying the hospitality at Ess-Kay Yards and getting our list of boat projects done.

I've been suffering blog withdrawal so put up a new tab "Living Aboard" - check it out.

I've been growing sprouts for years and it works well on the boat to supplement our fresh greens.

Sprouting organic mung beans

Cover with water and soak overnight

Sprouting nicely after a couple of days

Ready to grow with the top off

Cut the roots off

Rinse and dry

Delicious on a wrap or a stir fry - ummmm
