Fixing the wind generator - March 2012

Mast is down to repair the wind generator.
Somewhere along the way, the tip on one of the blades broke off.

Since the blades are balanced, it took a new set and replacement of all the blades.

FYI: Captain is brave!

Excursion to Panama City, FL

A few days away from the dock took us to Panama City.

Panama City is about in the middle of the panhandle.
Marina where we stayed
Baby cormorants all fuzzy
We also anchored out - love the solitude
Tyndall air force base kept us entertained watching planes
A reminder to keep your distance
Yellow boats are so pretty
Cypress groves in the canal going back to Port St Joe
Vulture blending in - isn't nature awesome!

Sailing in St Joseph Bay

Lollygag under sail----wheeeeee

Thanks for saving our spot

Resting after the loop - at PSJ

Rest and relax in Port St Joe for almost 3 months!
The "Loop" was an adventure of a lifetime and we needed time to come back to reality.

Window peeper
Favorite palm tree on our favorite path.

The trike was a hoot! and I rode it all over town.

Don't forget to resupply....they were all out of turnip greens today.

At anchor; November 27, 2011

Weather report was "right on" for wind. It has been a steady 20mph - gusting to 30,
so we are contently swinging at anchor, relaxing and enjoying the wildlife.

A good place to wait out the storm.
