This is the Chesapeake Bay.
It's the second biggest body of water we've ever been on.
Very beautiful.
We started at Norfolk, Virginia and are currently at Deltaville.
- Chesapeake Bay is 200 miles long and the average dept is 21 feet !
- Most of the Bay is extremely shallow and a person 6 feet tall could wade through over 7000,000 acres.
- Course, there are a few deep shipping channels over 100 feet deep so ships can get to the ports.
- It's interesting to learn about Chesapeake Bay!
At anchor we watched jellyfish all around the boat.
It was amazing to see and I tried to get video.
