| We are 1/2 way between Kingston and Troy. Just past Troy we turn west into the Erie Canal. |

| We saw several lighthouses today. Outside the channel, the water varied in depth with several shallow parts. |

| Birds nesting on channel markers are common, but this condo cracked us up. |
