Is it really September 5, 2011?

Small Craft Advisory in effect through late tonight

Today
North wind 15 to 25 knots easing to 10 to 20 knots late in the afternoon...then becoming 15 to 20 knots late in the afternoon. Gusts up to 30 knots. Chance of showers. Waves 4 to 7 feet building to 5 to 8 feet in the late morning and early afternoon.

We are stranded in Milwaukee!

Lake Michigan winds and waves have extended our visit with family.

After twelve days in port, we are starting to feel like land dwellers! It's a bit overwhelming as everyone appears to be busy and rushing about.
Driving on land is a bummer compared to the ease of moving along at sea where you have a long time to change course with oncoming traffic and no one has given me the finger....so far.

Exploring the harbor and having family aboard was a ton of fun. Shopping and seeing the town with a personal guide was perfect. The peaceful moments will always be cherished.

This has been a great adventure, but its time to move on before the water gets hard!

A good time was had by all
