| Sumter Landing is a public recreation area with excellent wind protection from all directions. ....'course the weather report was wrong and there wasn't any wind, nor net connection, but it was a cozy and a good place to read a book. |

| One of the many Ox-Bow entrances FYI: An Ox-Bow is a U-shaped bend that meanders off the main river. Sometimes a good place to anchor, but often shallow and full of snags. |
