We headed north from the southern tip of New Jersey today.
We chose to travel up the coast inside the barrier island's. The water is shallow and there are a lot of bridges, but we wanted to see it at least once.
First thing we did is lower both masts and pull up the bilge boards.
It was a very interesting day.

Looking across the water at the amusement park ferris wheel -
you could hear 'em screaming from here |
Marshes were on the starboard side today in-between and surrounded by the towns |
100's of laughing gulls filled the marshes - very funny |
Between marshes and the towns, you would get to an inlet to the Atlantic Ocean
Winds and current would change |
Going through the towns was like driving down water filled streets
Everyone just used boats instead of cars |
Blocks of houses built on pilings - no solid ground to drive on |
Saw this fisherman catch a fish |
Fishermen in NJ were very friendly and curious about Lollygag |
