We were excited to see these Great Egrets. They are bigger than white herons. They have a long thin yellow bill. |
Diver harvesting freshwater mussels. They used to be exported to Japan for seeding oyster for pearl production. Now harvesting is limited by hand and used for bait. |

We've seen lots of turtles. It's hysterical to watch them eating the algae along the waterline of Lollygag. Yum. |
