Dragging our feet on the "home stretch", we had a short day today and are anchored in whats called Harrison Bayou. |
We enjoyed a relaxing day as we went through a canal called "Grand Canyon East." Having been to the real Grand Canyon in AZ, we noted some similarities such as erosion and a winding river. |
Sand and pine bluffs for about 20 miles. |
The wind was against us, but the current was with us. The generator was putting out over 17 amps while our speed stayed at 7.5 or higher for most of the day. |
Very peaceful with birds and the occasional dolphin. |
The narrow "Grand Canyon" ended at the West Bay Creek bridge and opened up to West Bay. |
51 miles remaining on the loop. |
