First Lock of the day.

and hazard free all the way |

Then you get into Stony Lake with is aptly named -
scattered rocks randomly scattered throughout |

Lock 30 - Lovesick: lift 4 feet.
This lock is on an island! Lock operators get to work by boat.
Caution: Don't tie up overnight - raccoon board boats. |

*The remains of Lock 29 are on the right side of Lock 28. When the waterway was being built, they realized a second lock was not needed at that location, so abandoned it. The blocks that were in place for Lock 29 were used in the steps on Lock 28.
Since the Locks were already numbered, they kept them the same. Thus, the Trent - Severn Waterway does not have a Lock number 29. Interesting, eh?
